A one day mass hunger strike and widespread social media campaign is taking place today in solidarity with climate activist Sonam Wangchuk. Wangchuk is currently on an indefinite fast which has entered its 19th day at Delhi's Jantar Mantar to protest against examination irregularities and the NEET paper leaks.

A one day strike may sound as a joke to some but this serves as a symbolic, low-barrier way for the public to show solidarity with Sonam Wangchuk.
