We are intelligent, After all

We hate lies.
As a nation. Deeply. Passionately. Religiously.
In fact, after cricket and blaming, it might be our favorite hobby.
We hate when politicians lie.
We hate when celebrities pretend.
We hate when rich people escape consequences like they were never meant for them.
Disgusting.
We especially hate false promises. They are the worst category of lie. If a party promised us, free electricity than they need to provide it.
And when development doesn't arrive on schedule, we immediately know who is responsible.
Not the department.
Not the local authority.
Not the minister in charge.
No.
We question the Prime Minister directly for potholes in our colony. Because naturally, he wakes up every morning, reviews international policy, and then personally assigns potholes to our neighborhoods.
We also hate corruption.
Which is why we proudly use our father’s connections to get jobs.
Which is why our uncle’s “envelope” is a family tradition because it protects us.
Corruption is unacceptable.
We aren't a part of it, we have high reach. It's networking.
We are outraged when someone buys a seat with donations. And that's why we feel blessed when our parents arrange one.
Consistency is overrated anyway.
We get angry when land is given for one rupee to some foundation. We don’t check how much revenue they generate and how it profits locals around, Who cares if they build Hospitals, schools, livelihoods, boring details.
What matters is the number.
One rupee = scam.
Math never lies.
We are furious when a rich kid kills two people and writes a paragraph as punishment. We say, “This country is broken.”
We use the next contact, favor, or influence we have, ofcourse for our best.
Because injustice is tragic.
Inconvenience is unacceptable.
And roads? Oh, we love them.
Not enough to clean but enough to complain.
We wait and observe which neighbour starts cleaning first. Civic sense is a competitive sport after all.
And until someone else moves, we protest loudly from the comfort of trash we didn’t pick up proudly from the comfort of trash we didn’t pick up ourselves.
We are thinkers, not followers.
That is why our opinions come directly from verified headlines.
We are woke, not ignorant.
That is why we research before forwarding messages.
We are rational citizens.
That is why we already know who is guilty before the investigation begins.
We do this all to ofcourse save our country's culture and harmony. We want peace. In our houses.
We care about our country so much that we cannot think of anything less than war when our neighbour country killed our people in terror attacks, who cares if the war will kill our soldiers too.
They won't die anyways, they will live in our hearts, soul and most importantly. In our Instagram captions. They will be remembered as Martyrs. For a whole month. And that's enough what else can their family ask for?
We criticize our players when they can't get a gold medal in olympics, although our first question after seeing one is "What were their names?"
We question the system when an illiterate player is offered a job of primary education minister. Like how is an illiterate going to manage a department of education?
And ofcourse just as loud, we question when some player who won gold 3 times for our country is found picking trash on roadside for living. We question everything, Which is forwarded to us.
We immediately laugh on racial slurs made for other country so that it remains a joke not a mentality. Oh we are genius.
And that's why we threaten if any foreigner use racial slurs against us, because we "joke" and they "disrespect". Simple.
We are intelligent after all.
